One thing I’ve noticed is that this game has considerably less walls to bust through. Up until a few minutes ago, I assumed it had none. My memory’s a little fuzzy on the GBA games, but I know Symphony had some walls to bust through. I thought that maybe you needed Balore’s soul and you had to touch the screen to bust walls. But it hasn’t been the case so far, and I might have just proved that method false.

I was just randomly swatting at a wall with my Mach Fist as I fell, and I busted it open. I won’t say where it is or what I found, but it’s pretty cool. If this was the only breakable wall in the game, then they choose the item hidden inside right.

Man, I was hoping my dagnab camera battery would arrive, so I could start posting awesome pictures. The next best thing did though: PINK STYLUS!! I’s pretty sure I get +3 to Kirby CC skill with it.

Things we’ll have:

  • A name: something like “The ___ Game Club,” fill in the blank. Or, maybe to keep it simple, just The Game Club. I’m leaning toward that option, myself.
  • A member information page for introductions and whatnot, and links to members’ blogs.
  • A Club charter/mission statement/explanation type thing. Most of what I’ve said in previous posts about direction and purpose applies.
  • Each game that we do should be its own category. And we’ll list them in the sidebar. Easy access. Any administrative/coordinating posts go in their own category.
  • Icons for each individual poster would be sweet. 48x48, AIM style is good.

As far as hosting options go, I’m pretty much broke. The freer, the better if I’m paying. I wouldn’t mind having it on Blogsome if they didn’t have long loading times every night. I registered gameclub.blogsome.com as a preemptive strike, but I’m definitely not committing us to that. If there’s another blog hoster that has the flexibility with layout that Bogsome (haha) provides, I’ll try it out.

Since I’m as semi-professional as it gets, I can do stuff with WordPress pretty well. I’m picking up CSS and stuff as I go along, and I can learn pretty fast.

We can discuss this stuff tomorrow evening, it’s still all up for debate. Remember to post your own thoughts on Castlevania in your blogs, and we can transfer it all to the new place when it’s ready.

On a side note, check out the banner of dsdsds.net. It really captures the spirit of the DS nicely.

Also, I registered an account for Google Talk. My address is “sp.tanukisan@gmail.com”, for anyone else who’s on it. ^^
