I’m playing a friend’s Castlevania DS while he re-arranges his room. Nyahaha. You get to sign your name on your save slot instead of intering initials! That’s awesome. The DS games have been a little lacking in innovative-but-superfluous features lately. Like the honeycomb effect in MPH, the drawing in M64DS, and the menu rearranging in Meteos. We need more stuff like that. I’ll be getting my own copy of ‘vania soon.
I nabbed me a copy of Trauma Center today also! It’s quite a different game experience from anything else I’ve played. It effectively puts you in a surgeon’s frame of mind, and I can’t place exactly how it’s done. It feels like something beyond a game, but not in the way that Nintendogs was. It’s sort of a simulation that’s very fun to play, but still too much of a game to be a simulation.
Hey, Game Club fellows, shall we start with Castlevania DS? Maybe Trauma Center? Maybe wait for next week’s Phoenix Wright?
